Big Crown ProPilot Big Day Date

The Big Crown ProPilot Big Day Date was part of the ProPilot collection Oris introduced in 2014. This version pairs a 45mm stainless-steel case with a gray dial, oversized Arabic numerals and enlarged day and date windows at three o'clock. The coin-edged bezel takes its shape from the turbines of a jet engine, while inside is Oris Calibre 752, an automatic movement with roughly 38 hours of power reserve.

For all of its size, the ProPilot is a surprisingly straightforward watch. The flat gray dial and large white numerals make it immediately legible, while the turbine-inspired bezel gives an otherwise functional design its most distinctive detail. On the gray textile strap, the 45mm case also wears lighter than its dimensions might suggest.
